Using this option, the user will be able to scan the barcode of the item. On scanning the barcode, the application POWERTRANS displays the item name, item code, stock on hand of the item scanned.
“View Item Details”
On clicking this button, the user could go a step further to see the additional details like item code, item name, description, sales price, valid from, valid to, UOM and stock on hand.
“Print Barcode Label”
Using this option, the user can print the Barcode label of that particular item.
“Search Product”
This option is used when the barcode is not available for the product. Using this option, the user will be able to search the item based on the item name. The application displays the closest match of the search criteria entered. The user selects the item depending upon the physical item. It then allows the user to view the details where he would be able to print the barcode from here itself and stick it on the shelf.
“Sales Price History”
Using this option, the user will be able to view the sales price history of this particular item over the period of time for the store or warehouse.
In case, If the user feels the inventory is on the higher side, then, he would be able to create the transfer order OUTWARD or else request transfer order INWARD for adding up inventory.
“Create Transfer Order”
Using this option, the user could create a transfer order - be it - Inward or Outward, these transfer orders are created in D365 F&O. It gives the user, the transfer order number. The user will be able to see the status of this transfer order further.
“Create Transfer Inward”
On using this feature, the user would be able to create the transfer order inward, the receiving warehouse will be defaulted to warehouse from where the user is available, and the user just need to select the warehouse from where the inventory will be shipped.
Once created, the user can view the status of the Transfer Order using the “View Details” Option.
“Create Transfer Outward”
Using this feature, the user would be able to create a transfer order outward. The shipping warehouse will be defaulted to warehouse that belongs to user’s warehouse. The user will be selecting the receiving warehouse where the product will be shipped.
Once created, the user can view the status of the Transfer Order using the “View Details” Option.
